…. Yeah, for a change. Maybe for the first time. He called Barack Obama a one-term president and I think he's going to be proven right. The Economist Magazine is calling him a failure in its latest issue though they certain feel he can change this still. If there were an election today with Obama [...]

Before I begin, I have two random comments:
I would much prefer to be in the UK instead of the US at any given point in time, but there is one thing that the UK doesn't have that makes me very, very glad to be back. Water pressure when taking a shower. The UK has the [...]

The good, fantastic, thrilling news is that Nucor, thanks to our industry's objections, had their complaint voted down 6-0 so there is no immediate effect. We Twittered and posted on our Facebook account earlier today. The official ruling may be read here.
Why did they lose? I don't know. However a 6-0 decision against them [...]

Let's start with some social injustice commentary. A Louisiana judge recently refused to issue a marriage license to a couple because one was black and one was white. OK, it's 452am as I start this post, because before hand I
checked my credit card receipts against my statements,
made a post over at the Panthers Hockey Message Boards,
filed my medical receipts for the week,
had a drink of water (twice 4x),
turned on the TV looking for something and found the last bit of an episode [...]

The Nucor (click for my previous Nucor articles) thing continues to escalate. I won't bore you with details of today's many inbound phone calls, but will tell you I am both flattered that I am, apparently, considered the go-to guy in the industry for answers, and irritated at the amount of work it's generated. At [...]

I'll start with some sad news. One of the more memorable and famous Beatles songs, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, was inspired by a drawing Julian Lennon did of classmate Lucy O'Donnell. Lucy died today at age 46 from lupus.
The above is the original drawing Julian did. It resides in the Rock & Roll [...]

I am tired. Really tired.
First, this awesome article on The Beatles and what today's kids think of them, from a reporter with the London Times. I can't remember which friend provided this, but I like it. Yeah, the Beatles are cool generation after generation.
Second, this video is from Jose's Facebook page. This intelligent young lady [...]
