I’m not sure how I feel about the name of the site, but this post is pretty awesome #99 Grammar. Bottom line is pretty much every group has grammatical morons. Judging from the comments on the Led Zeppelin post, stoned people have a far more difficult time grasping grammar. Even highfalutin executives can’t handle basic grammar. Anyway, the post is amusing. Read it or don’t.

I finally saw the luge video of the death of Georgian Olympic Luger Nodar Kumaritashvili. It’s not gruesome, but it’s certainly shocking. He’s alive, he’s tossed into a wall body splaying every which way, and he’s dead. No blood, no gore. Just death. It’s still up over at CBS — where I saw it — but NBC has finally pulled it. (CBS’ video only shows the actual accident and none of the post-accident mayhem.) It just goes to show that in life there are winners and lugers… (Ouch. Is that too soon?)
EMI music is in financial trouble and has put Abbey Road Studios up for sale. The article says Paul McCartney hopes it can be saved. Um, Paul, you’re worth £440 million pounds at last count and could afford to buy it yourself. Buy it and give it to me. I promise I will appreciate this legendary place more than anyone else who buys it. I’ve blogged about Abbey Road before, so I won’t say anything else except that I hope it’s preserved.
